As part of the Mission Beach Revitalisation Project traffic lights will be installed at key intersections along Porter Promenade to facilitate the replacement of stormwater culverts and pits. The installation of traffic lights is essential for ensuring safety and efficiency during the construction.
During the installation, RMS will also conduct important underground work to minimise disruptions whilst the lane closure is in place. This works is expected to be completed by Friday 13 December 2024.
