Second Chances Pop-Up Op Shop Update
Again a big thank you to all in the Mission Beach community who supported our two Second Chances Pop Up Op Shops during May and August this year. We received donations of a wide range of quality items, making it possible for many people to take advantage of our amazing bargains during the 2.5 days of operation.
As a result of your generosity, and the willing volunteers who made it all possible, we are able to continue to support our broader community, donating proceeds to services that provide emergency relief to those struggling to make ends meet.
Due to the large numbers of donated clothes that remained unsold, we are also looking at supporting isolated indiginous communities that have Op Shops who have a very limited stock, by sending suitable clothes to them; this will ensure we have plenty of room for your new donations when the time comes around next year.
Our next Op Shop will be operating in May 2025
