Cairns Airport is soaring to new heights with exciting developments just in time for the festive season!
New Flight Routes:
- Jetstar operated its first-ever direct flight from Cairns to the Sunshine Coast on Tuesday, 3 December, connecting two of Queensland’s most sought-after destinations.
- Cathay Pacific will launch its seasonal service starting 17 December, running through to 29 March.
- Cairns will soon celebrate its first direct flight to Christchurch with Jetstar on 1 April, followed by Fiji Airways’ inaugural service on 10 April.
Making Christmas Brighter:
The Cairns Airport Making Christmas a Little Brighter Campaign is in full swing! This initiative supports lesser-known local charities, not-for-profits, and grassroots sporting clubs. Five deserving groups will each receive $5000, helping spread festive cheer. Nominations close tomorrow 5 pm on Friday, 6 December.
