Thank you to everyone who joined us for Tuesday’s Cyclone Preparedness Meeting! It was inspiring to see so many community members come together to learn about staying safe this cyclone season. We are especially grateful to our wonderful guest speakers, Andrew Portelli (CCRC Disaster Coordinator), Sgt Ali Duggan (Innisfail Police Disaster Management Officer), Adrian House (MB Ambulance Service), Jim Hacquoil (MB SES), and Shannon Siebel (Resilient Insurance), who generously shared their expertise and time.
A big thanks also goes to the SES team at the back of the room (and special guest speaker), Truus Biddlecomb from Red Cross, and Danny Dade from MB Generator Hire, who provided fantastic resources.
