We have a paid position with Meals on Wheels MB available for an experience cook or chef.

 

  • Can you cook for 20+ people at one time?
  • Are you free Monday and Friday mornings from 8.00am – 12.00noon?
  • Are happy to take guidance from our Food Safety Supervisor?
  • Would you like to earn some extra income?

National Tree Day Sunday 28th July

Join the Cassowary Coast Regional Council and Community for Coastal & Cassowary Conservation on National Tree Day to kick off the revegetation of lot 98! This area is

situated directly across from World Heritage rainforest and the Hull River National Park, home to several endangered species including the Southern Cassowary and

Mahogany Glider.  After planting, volunteers can enjoy a BBQ and refreshments.

Mission Beach Markets

The Mission Beach Markets will be on this weekend , Sunday 7th July from 7am till 12noon, in Ulysses Park beside the beach on Porter Promenade Mission Beach. Come along for food, crafts,  fashion and fun!

This will be a spectacular event!!!!

A half marathon along South Mission Beach, Wongaling Beach and North Mission Beach lined with palm trees and offering magnifient island views.

 

Choose from 5 km, 10 km or 12 km runs or come along as a spectator.
