Council wishes to advise the community,effective from Monday 16 September David Street will ONLY be open to local traffic as the revitalisation works along the foreshore area ramp up
RMS Construction will work directly with the businesses and residents along Marine Parade to ensure deliveries and access are maintained.
The final designs of the Mission Beach Master Plan, show David Street as an event space with additional seating, improved landscaping and a foreshore lookout to the beach and Dunk Island. To allow a relaxing family-friendly entertainment area, the parking spaces have been permanently removed within this section of David Street.
Council encourages residents and visitors to utilise the new car park located along Campbell Street. This car park is suitable for cars and caravans, with over 50 car parks available!
